i'm a very contradicting person and i never seem to follow what i preach. i always try to look for the good in others, even if i can't see to find it at first. i mess up... a lot. but i feel like it takes a lot to own up to mistakes. there's nothing in the world that i'm proud of more than my serbian heritage. coming here the way i did, as a refugee, it's scary thinking how many people influenced my life and i don't even know them. it's even scarier thinking how many people's lives i influence and i don't even know it. at the end of the day, this is me, this is who i am. take it or leave it. i've learned that i'm not changing. //
